2018 – a very busy year ahead
Sportsman’s Dinner 2018
The BCCC 2018 Sportsman’s Dinner takes place at Dauntseys School on the 28th of March, with David Gower, cricket legend, and Kieran Bracken, part of England’s 2003 Rugby World Cup winning squad, the guest speakers. Tickets cost £45 and are available from all the usual outlets (ie Ed).
Biannual Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot
The BCCC Biannual Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot takes place on Friday 8th June at Wellington Barn, Calstone. This will be our sixth shoot, and we’ve already raised over £200,000 for charitable causes. In 2016, the shoot raised £78,000 which was distributed to various charities, including a donation of £48,000 made to the new Julia’s House Wiltshire Children’s Hospice, based in Devizes.
For 2018, the main recipient will again be Julia’s House, with donations also being made to the Devizes Opportunity Centre, the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, and Ataxia. If you are interested in entering a team, then please contact James Rapson or Ed. Similarly, if you’d like to volunteer to help on the day, please contact us.
